Renew a Business Entity License

Renew a Resident or Nonresident I​​ntermediary Firm License

Renewals open 60 days prior to license expiration date. License renewals are due on February 15th of every even-numbered year (biennium).​

The Designated Responsible Licensed Producer (DRLP) for the firm must be actively licensed in their resident state.

• Resident Intermediary Firm—License Renewal Fee of $35
• Nonresident Intermediary Firm—License Renewal Fee of $70

Intermediary Firm License R​​enewal Steps

1. Update firm address, e-mail, designated responsible licensed producer information in writing by emailing ociagentlicensing@wisconsin.gov.
2. If renewing online at nipr.com - opens in new window , use the National Producer Number OR FEIN during the renewal process.
3. Renew online at nipr.com - opens in new window or a NIPR authori​zed business partner - opens in new window .
4. Pay annual renewal fee of $100.
5. Print license - opens in new window ​ online via State Based Systems (SBS).
