The Office of the Commissioner of Insurance (OCI) has implemented a Financial Filing Portal for companies licensed as domestic and non-domestic insurers to make financial related filings electronically with the Division of Financial Regulation. Use of the Financial Filing Portal is optional but highly encouraged.  The following is a list of filings that can be made through the OCI Financial Filing Portal:

  • Articles of Incorporation
  • Bylaws
  • Change in Business Plan
  • Change in Company Information
  • Derivative Use Plans
  • Disclaimer of Control
  • Extraordinary Distribution Request
  • Financial Reporting Items
    • Actuarial Opinion
    • Annual and Quarterly Financial Statements
    • Annual and Quarterly Supplements
    • CPA Audit Opinion and Supplements
    • Corporate Governance Annual Disclosure
    • Form B and C Holding Company Registration
    • Form F – Enterprise Risk Reporting
    • Own Risk Solvency Assessment Report
  • Form D (Affiliated Transactions)
  • Line of Business Change Request
  • Ordinary Distribution Notice
  • Surplus Note Request
  • Surplus Note Interest Request

Prior to making your first filing, you must get a login and password to the Financial Filing Portal.  Please see the information at https://oci.wi.gov/Pages/Companies/MakeFinancialFilings.aspx to get set-up to make any of the above filings.

We are also accepting applications for new insurers and changes in control, mergers, and acquisitions electronically.  To file this, you do not need a login and password.  Please visit the following for making these filings:
