April 11-15 is National Retirement Planning Week

Madison, WI—Insurance Commissioner Ted Nickel reminds Wisconsinites of the importance of planning for their retirement.

Planning for your retirement may seem like a daunting task, but a few simple steps may start you down the right path. It is never too late or too early to begin planning. For more information on National Retirement Planning Week, visit www.retireonyourterms.org.

Created by the Legislature in 1870, Wisconsin's Office of the Commissioner of Insurance (OCI) was vested with broad powers to ensure that the insurance industry responsibly and adequately met the insurance needs of Wisconsin citizens. Today, OCI's mission is to lead the way in informing and protecting the public and responding to its insurance needs.
