Subject: Remotely Proctored Exams are Available for Agent Candidates

Effective Friday, April 17, 2020, the Wisconsin Office of the Commissioner of Insurance (OCI) made remotely proctored insurance agent licensing exams available using a remote testing application called ProProctorTM by Prometric.

ProProctor allows for fully proctored remote testing for candidates by providing a secure, online testing option in the location of the candidate's choosing. This allows candidates to complete agent licensing exams remotely during the Safer at Home order from and allows for individuals with mobility or transportation restrictions to complete exams at a time and location that best meets their needs. Each proposed test location will be individually vetted and approved by ProProctor as part of the testing process.

ProProctor provides:

  • 24/7 access and an easy-to-use remote platform that allows candidates convenience and flexibility in how, when, and where they test;
  • Advanced security measures to ensure a valid testing experience for all; and
  • 100 percent live proctoring capability using Prometric-trained proctors that ensures remote experience is consistent with the test-center experience.

Candidates can learn more about the remote testing process, and sign up for an exam at www.prometric.com/wisconsin/insurance.

Please note that there is currently an influx of candidates, and capacity is limited. Prometric is in the process of onboarding new proctors and ramping up testing capacity as quickly as possible.
