​Information on the Proposed Merger of General Casualty Insurance Company and Southern Pilot Insurance Company With and Into General Casualty Company of Wisconsin

On May 2, 2025, Morgan Tilleman, External Legal Counsel, filed a Form A on behalf of General Casualty Company of Wisconsin (GCCW, the “Applicant"), regarding the merger of Southern Pilot Insurance Company (SOPIC) and General Casualty Insurance Company (GCIC, and together with SOPIC the “Domestic Insurers") with and into GCCW. Pursuant to both the GCIC Merger Agreement and SOPIC Merger Agreement, both dated April 22, 2025, the Domestic Insurers shall be merged with and into GCCW, with GCCW continuing as the surviving entity. GCCW currently owns 100% of the issued and outstanding equity interests of the Domestic Insurers.
