​​​​Information on the Proposed Merger of Northern Finnish Mutual Insurance Company with and into Mt. Morris Mutual Insurance Company ​​​​​​

On September 26, 2023, Attorney Zachary Bemis filed a statement on behalf of the applicants, Northern Finnish Mutual Insurance Company (NFMIC) and Mt. Morris Mutual Insurance Company (MMIC).   NFMIC, a Wisconsin town mutual insurer, along with MMIC, a Wisconsin mutual insurance corporation, intends that NFMIC will merger with and into MMIC.  After the merger, in accordance with the agreement and plan of merger, NFMIC will cease to exist, and MMIC will continue as the surviving entity.
