Information on the Proposed Joint Conversion of Ashland County Town Insurance Company, Darlington Mutual Insurance Company, Liberty Mutual Fire Insurance Company, Price County Town Mutual Insurance Company, River Falls Mutual Insurance Company, Stockholm Town Mutual Insurance Company, and River Valley Mutual Insurance Company
On November 2, 2023, Attorney Zachary Bemis submitted a transmittal letter which detailed the plan of several Wisconsin town mutual insurance corporations to combine into a single Chapter 611 mutual insurance company. Upon completion of the conversion, the following companies will cease to exist: Ashland County Town Insurance Company (Ashland), Darlington Mutual Insurance Company (Darlington), Liberty Mutual Fire Insurance Company (Liberty), Price County Town Mutual Insurance Company (Price), River Falls Mutual Insurance Company (River Falls) and Stockholm Town Mutual Insurance Company (Stockholm). River Valley Mutual Insurance Company (River Valley) will continue as the surviving company under Chapter 611 of the Wisconsin Statutes.
