Information of the Proposed Merger of Tri-County Mutual Town Insurance Company with and into Mt. Morris Mutual Insurance Company

On September 6, 2023, Tri-County Mutual Town Insurance Company (“TCMTIC”), a 612 town mutual insurer, filed a statement on behalf of the Applicants.  TCMTIC along with Mt. Morris Mutual Insurance Company (“Mt. Morris”), a 611 mutual insurer, intend that TCMTIC will merge with and into Mt. Morris.  After the merger, in accordance with the agreement and plan of merger, TCMTIC will cease to exist, and the surviving entity would be Mt. Morris.
