Conversion of Reedsburg-Westfield Mutual Insurance Company and Baraboo Mutual Insurance Company

On October 19, 2023, Reedsburg-Westfield Mutual Insurance Company (RWMIC), a 612 town mutual insurer, and Baraboo Mutual Insurance Company (BMIC), a 612 town mutual insurer, filed a statement pursuant to s. 612.23 Wis. Stat. on behalf of the companies, seeking to convert to a single 611 mutual insurer.  In the consolidation of RWMIC and BMIC, RWMIC will be the surviving Company.  It is the intent of the converted company to affilate with Mt. Morris Mutual Insurance Company (MMIC), a mutual insurance corporation.  MMIC has separately filed a Form A Application for approval of the affiliation/change in control.
