On April 12, 2019, and updated continuously throughout April, American Family Insurance Mutual Holding Company and AmFam, Inc. (together, the “Applicants") filed a Form A application concerning the proposed acquisition of IDS Property and Casualty Insurance Company and its subsidiary Ameriprise Insurance Company from Ameriprise Financial, Inc. American Family Mutual Holding Company intends to acquire control of IDS Property Casualty Insurance Company and Ameriprise Insurance company by purchasing 100% of the issued and outstanding capital stock of IDS pursuant to the terms of the Stock Purchase Agreement dated April 1, 2019.
