Agent License Renewals
Resident and nonresident licenses expire every two years on the last day of the licensee's birth month. It is possible that licensees may be given longer than the required minimum of 24 months. For example, if an agent applies for a license March 1, 2016, with a birth date of January 30, the agent's license will expire January 31, 2019.
Agent licenses are available to renew 90 days prior to the license expiration date.
Attention Agents: All renewal notices are sent only via email to the business email address on file within 90 days of a licensee's expiration date. Please make sure the most up to date business email address is on file and check spam folders to ensure you receive your renewal notice.
CE credits must be completed, the credits electronically submitted by the education provider to the state, and renewal application submitted electronically prior to the expiration date to complete the renewal process. No exceptions will be made. OCI recommends CE be completed at least two weeks prior to your expiration date in order to renew without any issues or delays.
