Follow-Up After Hospitalization for Mental Illness - 7 Days

The Follow-Up After Hospitalization for Mental Illness measure indicates the percentage of health plan members age 6 and older who received inpatient treatment for a mental health disorder and had an ambulatory or day/night follow-up visit after being discharged. The measure includes hospitalizations for depression, schizophrenia, attention deficit disorder, and personality disorders. The measure collected the percentage of members who received follow-up care within 7 days.
