The Office of the Commissioner of Insurance (OCI) is continuing its study of the use of credit information in the underwriting and rating process of personal lines insurance. In order to respond to inquiries from community and neighborhood leaders, legislators and consumers, OCI surveyed the insurers that write private passenger auto and homeowner's insurance in Wisconsin on how they use credit information in their underwriting and rating process for auto and homeowner's insurance. Below is a link to the final report of the summary of the insurance company surveys.
