Health Advisory Council

This council advises the Commissioner on regulatory matters in the areas of health insurance. The council has four health insurance company members, two agent members, five members representing the business community, three public members, and one provider member.

The Health Advisory Council meets quarterly. The members are appointed by the Commissioner and serve a three-year term.
